"Pick Hit" award annually recognizes excellence in design, application and engineering.
FAIRFIELD, USA - 24 April 2007 - Autoscript, the world's leading teleprompting company, earned "Pick Hit" honours from Broadcast Engineering magazine for "ClockPlus" as one of the very best new products on show at NAB 2007.
Pick Hit Awards are the industry's longest running new technology awards. They are presented in recognition of the innovative technology developed and shown at NAB 2007.
An anonymous panel of Broadcast Engineering readers who are working professionals in the broadcast, post and network and satellite industries selected the winners.
ClockPlus is an LED SMPTE/EBU timecode display which includes the added feature of changing colour from green to red when a suitable Tally input is applied. The clock face has 2.25" tall digits that display HH:MM:SS A/P in 12 hour mode or HH:MM:SS in 24 hour mode. The timecode input is taken from either VITC embedded in the video input or from LTC. When a time-code source is connected, the clock will instantly set itself to the input time. If the timecode source is removed the display will continue to update the time under control of an internal crystal oscillator.
"We're delighted that the trade press has been so consistently impressed by the innovations we have developed for our customers all over the world," said Michael Accardi, President, Autoscript USA. "It gives us a great deal of confidence as we further extend our status as the global leader in teleprompting."
